Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

orbyon.io is a free multiplayer game. By playing it you agree to these terms. They are meant to be simple: play fair, be respectful, and understand that the game is provided as-is.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or playing orbyon.io on the web, on mobile, or through a game portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

orbyon.io is a general-audience game intended for players aged 13 and over (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, where higher). It is not directed to younger children. If you are a minor under the law of your country, you may use the game only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. The game and your licence to use it

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play orbyon.io for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. No account or purchase is required to play.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may filter, reject, or reset nicknames, and we may limit or block access that breaches these terms, in order to protect players and the service.

4. Content you provide

The only content you provide is your nickname. You are responsible for it and confirm it does not violate section 3. As it is displayed to other players, do not include personal information.

5. Price, ads, and rewarded content

The game is free to play. Some versions are ad-supported. Certain optional features (such as reviving after being eliminated, or trying a cosmetic) may be offered in exchange for watching a rewarded advertisement; watching is always optional and skipping it never prevents you from continuing to play. There are no purchases of virtual goods. In-game progress and cosmetic items have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money.

6. Intellectual property

The game, including its code, artwork, audio, and design, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. The source code is proprietary and all rights are reserved; see the LICENSE file distributed with the project. Except as these terms or the law expressly permit, you may not copy, distribute, host, sell, or create derivative works from the game or any of its assets. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you beyond the limited licence in section 2.

7. Third-party services

The game relies on third-party services (hosting, advertising, app stores, and game portals). Your use of the game through those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

8. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under EU and Italian law.

10. Availability and changes to the game

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the game or any of its features at any time. We may also update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued play after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the European Union. Disputes are subject to the courts of Italy, save where consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the game.
